The Summer House main-level suite is the smaller of PEI Best Cottages' two adult-only options, sleeping two in one queen bed. The ground-level suite sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both share a waterfront house in Stanley Bridge, so the choice is between two separate suite layouts rather than two detached cottages.
For a stay for two, compare the vaulted great room and primary suite on the main level with the ground level's open living area and kitchen. The lower patio sits beneath the upper deck. Look through both galleries to decide which arrangement you would use more.
Main level for one bedroom and a vaulted living space
Summer House Main Level has one bedroom and one bathroom, with a walk-in closet and ensuite in the primary suite. The open kitchen and great room look out toward New London Bay and the national park sandhills.
Its listed amenities include a washer and dryer and a Level 2 EV charger. If you plan to use the charger, ask Lisa about the connection and arrangements for your vehicle before arrival. A listed amenity is most useful when you know how it fits your own needs.
The main-level listing includes a ramp, 36-inch doorways and drive-up access. Ask about your own access needs. Those features cannot establish whether the route and bathroom layout will suit everyone, so confirm the details that affect your choice.
Ground level for two bedrooms and a waterfront patio
Summer House Ground Level has a queen and double bed in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. Its patio sits beneath the main-level deck. There is also an optional six-person hot tub with a reset fee that Lisa confirms when you enquire.
Two guests can consider the larger suite if they want separate bedrooms or prefer its outdoor arrangement. That does not establish a different rate or special two-person offer. Request a quote for the actual stay you have in mind.
Understand the shared house before booking
Both suites are adult-only, pet free and part of a quiet-zone property. The listings describe sound-reducing construction between levels, but that should not be read as a guarantee of silence or exclusive use of the entire building.
If you want to travel with another adult couple, you can ask about booking both levels. Lisa must confirm each suite's availability. The quiet-zone rules still apply, and a photograph of the whole house does not mean one suite booking includes both levels.
Keep the outing plan flexible
A couple's cottage trip can leave room for time at the house as well as Cavendish outings. Decide whether you prefer a full day away or a shorter visit followed by an evening at the cottage. The Stanley Bridge planning guide helps compare those days without promising fixed travel times.
If the hot tub is part of your choice, read the optional hot-tub comparison and ask about the fee and operation for your dates. It is listed for the ground-level suite, so it should not be assumed to come with a main-level booking.
Enquire about the Summer House level you prefer, with your dates and any access needs. Lisa can confirm the suite and price before you commit to the rest of the trip.
